iPhone 6 and 6 Plus Changing Users Reading Habits as iPad Usage Declines – Mac Rumors

Personally, it has changed for me as well after getting the iPhone 6 Plus. I have the iPad 3, with no immediate plans of upgrading. There are times I still reach for it (ironically, those include when I want a keyboard), but they’re getting less and less.

West Virginia Stopping Fight on Same Sex Marriage Ban

[Attorney General] Morrisey issued a statement Thursday that his office “will respect” the recent U.S. Supreme Court declining to review a lower-court ruling in July striking down Virginias ban on same-sex marriages. But Morrisey says he still doesnt agree with the high courts stance.

And that’s the thing: it’s not that everyone has to agree, just show a bit of respect.  The rate things are going, he’s doing the citizens of WV a service by not spending tax dollars on a fight he probably won’t win.

Supreme Court: “Not Yet” in stepping-in on same-sex marriage question.

So the Supreme Court has decided not to take up the current challenges to rulings that overturned same-sex marriage bands.

Good news:

The court’s action Monday effectively makes same-sex marriage legal in 30 states, plus the District of Columbia.

We’re over half-way there.  The bad news is, we still haven’t had this settled nation-wide.  There are still other cases working their way through the system that could still pop up in the Supreme Court.   I am personally wondering if the Court is trying to punt as long as they can to either have it eventually determined nation-wide by the various lower courts, or are waiting for “just the right one”.
